Maison Admire at FAD — 100 Years of Design
A century after the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Modern Industries in Paris — the moment that gave rise to what we now know as Art Deco — FAD revisits that legacy to explore how design has evolved over the last hundred years.
At the Disseny Hub Barcelona, the exhibition brings together nearly two hundred contemporary works that question how we produce, consume, and connect through the objects that surround us. Among them, Maison Admire presents a piece that embodies its vision: a bag as an object of reflection, crafted between technology and handwork, nature and innovation.

Each Maison Admire piece begins with biomaterials — organic, renewable, and responsibly sourced. The structure is shaped by local artisans, who work each element by hand, while the sculptural handles are 3D-printed and hand-polished, blending human sensibility with digital precision.
In a time when design must ask new questions, Maison Admire places the human experience and environmental consciousness at its core. The bag becomes more than a product: it is a quiet manifesto on materiality, care, and the beauty of mindful creation.
